Dua Lipa has had an amazing couple of years, with many Number 1 singles, including her collaboration with Calvin Harris, 'One Kiss', which has also won a number of awards, including a BRIT Award. Now, the singer has posted an update on her second album, which is currently in the works, and it has got her fans super excited.

In a message to her fans the singer wrote, 'I want to keep you all in and part of the process so, as I’m slowly going on and starting to finish songs for my next album, yesterday was truly one for the books.'

She explained how after touring her first album, which was 'such a predominately electronic album', she needed, 'a lot more live instrumentation.'

Dua then went on to say she had been in the studio with Nile Rodgers and was 'on the brink of tears as I saw more life being brought into these records!'. Dua also shared three photos of the pair working in the studio.

Since confirming she's in the studio with Nile, Dua's fans have been commenting on her tweet about how excited they are to hear her new music. One fan said, 'Oh my gosh. I can’t wait to see what you two come up with. Now that you have another epic collab, who do you want to work with next?', with another saying, 'thanks for always keeping us up to date on what’s going on with the album baby! CAN’T WAIT ❤️'.
