EXCLUSIVE: Dua Lipa CONFIRMS Normani collab 🙌
Dua joined KISS Breakfast with Tom & Daisy
Last updated 10th Feb 2020
One of the biggest pop stars on the planet right now, Dua Lipa, joined KISS Breakfast with Tom & Daisy this morning (Monday 10th February) to reveal all about her upcoming second album, her VERY handsome dad, and her hugely-anticipated 2020 tour.
Dua has already confirmed her second album 'Future Nostalgia' will be released in April 2020, so we couldn't resist in trying to find out more about it, including all of those rumoured collabs.
Chatting to Tom & Daisy via FaceTime, Dua confirmed she's working with former Fifth Harmony singer Normani, saying. "There is a collaboration that me and Normani have done together on the album. I have a couple of songs that I've worked on, and that I kind of put aside for a second wind, so that's all to be discussed."
Admitting the rest of the album has no features on it, Dua revealed she found it difficult to think about who to ask to feature on the tracks.
She added, "If I'm honest it was kind of difficult who to think to to ask to feature on tracks, which is also why the album has no features on it. I couldn't really think as to who it would really sit with, if i'm honest.
"I feel like a lot of the songs kind of live on their own, because they are so relentless, it is difficult to place them in that way."
Of course, we couldn't let Dua leave without discussing her incredibly handsome dad Dukagjin Lipa...
After Tom & Daisy asked how her dad deals with all of the attention, Dua said, "I don't think he really thinks about it too much. I think it's like a laugh when it was the BRITs and everybody wrote about him. It was a giggle and we would make fun of him at home, but that's about as far as it goes."
As well as dropping a brand new album this year, Dua is also going on a European and UK tour, hitting the UK in May with her first few shows in London.
Speaking about going on the road, Dua said, "I'm excited to perform new songs to a new show. Really getting to tell a story with the show, the outfit changes! It's going to be fun!"
