Beyonce and Solange Knowles just broke a world record, they have become the first sisters EVER to have a Number 1 album in the Billboard Charts in the same calendar year.
On 30th September, Solange dropped her third studio album ‘A Seat at the Table’ to critical acclaim. It sold 72,00 copies in its first week and has since raced up the Billboard 200 to number 1. Beyonce showed her proud she was of her little sis, posting on Instagram ‘Congrats to my sister on creating this beautiful work of art. I could not be more proud of you. A Seat At The Table is available today!’ While Beyonce has racked up an impressive six number 1 albums including her latest release ‘Lemonade’ this year.
