Alicia Keys wows fans at major train station with performance of several hits 🎶
She was playing on Elton John's piano
'Empire State of Mind' singer Alicia Keys wowed commuters in a busy major train station when she sat down at Elton John's piano in St Pancras, London, and belted out several hits, along with her latest release 'Lifeline'.
As crowds gathered around the singer, she took at seat at the famous piano, and several fans took to social media to share footage of her singing her popular songs. One fan took to X, formerly Twitter to share a short clip tweeting: 'Alicia Keys performing @ St Pancras, International Station London, UK 🔥🔥'.
A second fan shared another video, where she can be seen encouraging those around her to join in.
Fans have also been leaving comments such as: '😍😍😍', and 'Lovely moment'.
Alicia, who has been in the UK for some interviews, performed her songs ‘Empire State of Mind’, ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ and ‘No One’, along with ‘Lifeline’ with his the first release from the upcoming film The Color Purple.
The Color Purple is a brand new film, starring Taraji P. Henson and Danielle Brooks. The movie is an adaptation of the musical of the same name, which is in turn taken from the 1982 novel.
As well as releasing 'Lifeline', Alicia’s original stage musical, 'Hell's Kitchen' has also been announced to make its Broadway premiere next year.
The singer also released 'The Diary of Alicia Keys 20', on 1st December. The album is a digital rerelease of her multiplatinum, Grammy-winning, album as it celebrated its 20th anniversary.
