Adele to headline Glastonbury 2016?
The singer is apparently in final talks to appear at Glastonbury 2016 with Rihanna and Coldplay favourites to perform as well.
Rumour has it that Adele could be headlining Glastonbury 2016. Despite previously claiming she would never play the festival because “The crowds are too big – I don’t know if I could do it.”
It seems Adele could be warming to the idea because apparently she’s in final talks to appear. Glastonbury act booker Martin Elbourne (give us your job Martin… we want your job) has told Loaded magazine: “There’s lots of talk about Adele and it’s in there in the mix. Adele is in a situation in her career where frankly she can do whatever the hell she likes. Hopefully it will happen and it still needs to be confirmed.”
The festival’s 2016 line-up is apparently 80% booked. Other favourites to headline are Coldplay who release their seventh album next week and Rihanna who will be in the UK for her ANTI World Tour in June 2016.
