Adele beats Taylor Swift's Vevo record
Adele's video for Hello racks up more views in 24 hours than Taylor Swift's Bad Blood
Up until last week, it was Taylor Swift that held all the Vevo records. Swifty's video for Bad Blood, which dropped on 17 May 2015 and features her famous friends including Lena Dunham and Cara Delevigne, received 20.1 million views in the first 24 hours of release.
However, the video for Adele's Hello has totally smashed this record and racked up a whopping 27.7 million in the first 24 hours. The total views for Hello, which is now available to buy, currently stands at 88,579,936.
Last week Taylor Swift's Blank Space was announced as the most-viewed ever video on Vevo, totalling a ridiculous 1,235,535,278 views since it was released back in November last year.
