Adele backs Kesha in BRIT Award 2016 speech

After Adele won her a BRIT Award for ‘Best British Female’ in 2016 she publicly backed Kesha in her award speech.
Adele won the first award of the night which she was presented with by One Direction’s Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson and the star ended her acceptance speech by saying “I would like to say I publicly support Kesha.’
At the time, the ‘Timber’ singer was currently going through a court case to get out of her contract after allegations that her producer sexually assaulted her.
