Zayn Malik forced to pull out of another live show due to ‘extreme anxiety’
Zayn doesn't feel 'comfortable' performing.
Zayn Malik has cancelled an upcoming show in Dubai after admitting he is not ‘comfortable’ enough to perform live due to his troubles with anxiety.
The former One Direction singer was due to perform at Dubai’s Autism Rocks Arena in October but today has sent an emotional statement to fans.
Of course this isn’t the first time the 23-year-old has pulled out of a live show due to his anxiety. Back in June Zayn failed to perform at a summer gig after suffering ‘the worst anxiety’ of his career.

In a heartfelt Instagram post he wrote “Unfortunately my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me… with the magnitude of the event, I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career. I cannot apologise enough but I want to be honest with everyone who has patiently waited to see me, I promise I will do my best to make this up to everyone I’ve let down.
“I know those who suffer anxiety will understand and I hope those who don’t can empathise with my situation.”
Since leaving One Direction and starting his solo career, Zayn has only performed a small number of live shows, with most of them being in America. The singer performed his track ‘It’s You’ on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
