The Weeknd rents out a WHOLE cinema for date night with Selena Gomez

Since they started dating Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have enjoyed some seriously fancy dates.

The pair were first spotted together in January, when photos emerged of them locking lips outside a restaurant in California. Since then they’ve managed a mini break in Italy taking in the sights of Venice and Florence, yacht hangs off the coast of California and wining and dining all over the globe.

But this week, the couple decided to keep things low key… while kinda. The Weeknd took Selena back to him hometown of Toronto, Canada. For a date day that including a spot of shopping, a trip to the local Aquarium (cue some very cool Instagram stories) and renting out a WHOLE CINEMA so the couple could watch ‘Get Out’ in peace.

According to etalk, the couple booked the 9.45pm showing off the new film, which set them back around £1200 ($1500). According to the publication the pair enjoyed a host of snacks including two gin and tonics, two regular popcorns, a Twix, Maltesers, Twizzlers, two packs of Sour Patch Kids and three regular-sized Diet Cokes.
