Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran are both mega pop stars, who just happen to be very good friends, which has been confirmed in a funny video recently uploaded to Instagram.

In the video posted by Taylor, she can be seen sitting on a sofa chatting to Ed, who is sitting on the arm. The pair joke about how Ed likes to 'peacock'.

"I just want to start by saying, this is what he does. He tries to elevate himself, just like geographically, so that he can seem better than me," the pop star jokes.

She continues, "Like experts will study this and say that you're like, what are you doing, you're like 'peacocking' right now?"

Ed responds to her saying, "It's only because you wear ---- heels all the time!"

To which she replies, "Look what I did for you today!"

Showing off her spotty, burgundy Converse boots.

The pair laugh about the situation and despite having the comments disabled, the video has had over 3.8 million likes and views on Instagram.

Taylor and Ed have been good friends since the pair toured together in 2013. Ed once explained why he thinks they get on to GQ magazine saying,

“It’s the same thing as Taylor. There’s an underdog element to it. Taylor was never the popular kid in school. I was never the popular kid in school. Then you get to the point when you become the most popular kid in school – and we both take it a bit too far. She wants to be the biggest female artist in the world and I want to be the biggest male artist in the world."

As well as being good friends the pair have also teamed up on a number of collaborations. The most recent is Taylor's song 'End Game' featuring Future and Ed Sheeran, although the song was released at the end of last year, it was only a few weeks ago that they dropped the music video.

The party-themed music video starred all three artists, in cities as far apart as Miami, Tokyo and London.

You can hear many of Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran's hits on KISS.
