Former Islander Tom Powell has revealed he is dating Married At First Sight Australia star Tamara Joy.
Tom, who appeared in Series 2 of Love Island in 2016, gave a romantic update whilst on Simon Gross’ Love Island Extra Show.
The 27-year-old said: "I'm dating someone off Married at First Sight. Do you know the Australian Married at First Sight? So, Tamara off there.”
The fitness influencer, who hails from seaside town Port Talbot in Wales, now owns his own personal training company, Tom Powell Athletic, as well as creating content for his Youtube social media channels.
After appearing on series six of popular reality show Married At First Sight Australia, Tamara is an Instagram influencer with over 200k followers.
She has previously dated fellow Love Island UK contestant Ashley Lenco, who also briefly appeared in series two of the show.
He described how the pair have got to know each other very well over the last few months and revealed that Australian reality star Tamara is even staying with him in the UK.
He added: "She's flown over from Australia. She's been here for a month, six weeks now. She's in the other room over there."
Interviewer Simon Gross went on to ask: "Well can we get a hello?" before the Welshman jokingly replied: "I don't know if she has clothes on, so I don't really know if I can..."
Love Island fans will remember Tom coupled up with Sophie Gradon during his time in the villa, however the couple parted ways a few months after returning to the UK. Tragically, Sophie died in 2018.
