Taylor Swift set to receive the first ever 'Taylor Swift award'
This is a real thing!
Taylor Swift is literally the queen of everything right now and now the megastar is getting an award named after herself!
Swifty will soon become the first ever person to receive the ‘Taylor Swift Award’ (yes that is a real thing) as part of the 64th annual BMI Pop Awards.

The star already has a huge collection of awards that we can only imagine are clogging up her mantelpiece, but now Tay is going to have to find space for this epic new award.
BMI, who are one of the largest rights management organisation in the world will give Taylor the award in recognition of her ‘incomparable creative and artist talent and influence on music lovers throughout the world’. We think that just means for being totally awesome!
Taylor will receive the award at the annual BMI Pop Awards in May.
We can’t wait to see it!
The only other time BMI have given an award like this was in 1990 for music legend Michael Jackson.
Meanwhile Tay enjoyed a successful evening at the iHeartRadio Awards at the weekend where she picked up four top awards including, ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Female Artist of the Year’.
Of course supportive boyfriend Calvin Harris was there to congratulate his girl after her success. Awww!
