Taylor Swift has shared some personal news about her mother in a letter to fans.
Taylor Swift has revealed that her mother has been diagnosed with cancer, in an open letter to fans. The extremely personal information was shared with fans online today (Thursday 9th April), with Swift explaining that she and her mother wanted to encourage people to get a health check.

Almost immediately after Taylor shared the heartfelt letter, #PrayForMamaSwift started trending Worldwide on Twitter and fans posted messages of support to the singer and her mother.
