Taylor Swift dismissed from jury service
The star has been dismissed from jury service in Nashville.
When Taylor Swift didn't show up to the MTV Video Music Awards at the weekend many believed it was due to her fall out with Kim and Kanye West, but it turns out the superstar was actually on jury duty.
Taylor was spotted in a court in Nashville, Tennessee by eagled eyed fans and she didn't hold back posing for photos and signing autographs.
One fan took to Twitter to write 'My mom just casually has jury duty with Taylor SWIFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' (sic) along with a snap of the pair. Twitter was also flooded with short videos and snaps of the singer as she appeared to be waiting around for court to resume.
Taylor has now been dismissed from serving her jury duty as the judge did not believe the star would be impartial, as she is currently involved in her own court case.
The 26-year-old may not have made it to the VMAs but Kanye West made sure the star was given a shout-out.
Taking to the stage to introduce his brand new video for his track ‘Fade’, Kanye name dropped Taylor by referring to her reaction to the argument the pair had over that 'Famous' video.
He said “Last week it was 22 people murdered in Chicago. People come up to me like, 'Man, that's right. Take down Taylor.' Bro, I love y'all. That's why I called her."
