Despite many thinking the romance between Selena Gomez and The Weeknd would fizzle out before it even got started, it seems the pair are proving everybody wrong and have now been spotted on a romantic trip in Italy.
The pair are out in Florence and were spotted holding hands before getting into a car together over the weekend.

After following each other on Instagram last week, The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, took things a step further when he uploaded a shot of Selena admiring The Birth of Venus painting at The Uffizi Gallery.
The loved up pair were first pictured together when they were spotted kissing outside of a restaurant at the beginning of January.
It seems their romance is going from strength to strength, with Bieber's ex-girlfriend looking happier than ever with the 'Starboy' hit maker.
However it seems not everybody is enjoying the romance...
Selena and The Weeknd's ex girlfriend Bella Hadid are both part of the same group of friends and have hung out in the past with Bella's sister Gigi.
