Sam Smith is taking a break from music to date
The Writing's On The Wall singer is taking a break to be a 'normal' 23 year-old!
After a crazy (and crazily successful) few years, what with the release of his debut album, relentless touring, a vocal cord hemorrhage and writing the new James Bond theme tune, Sam Smith has said he's going to take a break for a while.
To ET Online, Sam said "I’ve been playing now for three years non-stop. And it feels right for me to just go home and live my life — just be a 23 year-old. It’d be good to actually spend some time dating, I think."
On his second album, which we imagine is a long way off, Sam said "I have been writing a little bit, and already I’ve found direction on what I want to say and how I want things to sound. But there’s a long way to go."
The Writing's On The Wall singer attended the star-filled premiere of Spectre, which took place last night at the Royal Albert Hall.
