Speaking to us at the premiere of the new Amy Winehouse documentary, Amy, in London last night, Piers and Kesi said they can see how stars can be affected by the industry.

Directed by Asif Kapadia – the man behind the multi-award winning documentary Senna – Amy hits cinemas in the UK on 3rd July.

Focusing on Amy’s life from a prodigious teenager right up to her globe conquering triumphs, struggles with addiction and untimely demise at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning, the film gives viewers a unique insight into the star’s life.

To provide the compelling narrative, Asif conducted over 100 interviews with Amy’s family and close friends.
