Ricky Gervais will host Golden Globes again
The British comedian will host his fourth Golden Globe awards next January.
After a three-year break, Ricky Gervais will return to host 2016's Golden Globe Ceremony.
The British comedian hosted the film and television awards from 2010 to 2012 but caused controversy across the entertainment industry with his risqué and often inappropriate humour. Whilst hosting, Gervais made jibes at most of Hollywood's biggest stars, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (who hold the awards) and NBC (the television station who air the awards).
Since his departure as host in 2012, when Gervais vowed to never host the Golden Globes again, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have hosted the awards.
Last night, Gervais announced the news that he will be back to hosting the event on Twitter in his usual, sarcastic manner:

The 73rd Golden Globes ceremony will take place in LA on 10 January 2016.
