Rumours are flying round that Rebel Wilson is set to play Adele in an upcoming biopic about the singer.
Adele addressed the rumours at her London gig last (4th April 2016) saying ‘ I’ve heard some rumours about Rebel Wilson will be playing me in a movie - let’s see if that turns out to be true.’ She also added ‘Just because I’m plus-sized doesn’t mean she’s playing me.’
Rebel is apparently keen on the role, with a friend telling The Daily Star: ‘Rebel always wanted to prove she can cut it as a serious actress… She think that this role could be the making of her career and transform her into a major movie star.’
