The Queen just sent her second ever tweet
Yes Ma'am...
The Queen has sent her second ever tweet. She personally tweeted from the official Royal Family’s Twitter account to thank everyone for their birthday wishes.
The 90-year-old’s message, which has had more that 14,000 likes, said she was ‘most grateful’ for all the messages she received.
In case anyone doubted that she hadn’t personally been involved, another tweet followed to confirm that Queen Elizabeth had sent it herself.
The Queen sent her first tweet in 2014 when she opened a Science Museum in London.
It read "It is a pleasure to open the Information Age exhibition today at the @ScienceMuseum and I hope people will enjoy visiting. Elizabeth R."
Various celebrations took place for Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday, including the Trooping of the Colour ceremony, a street party and a special service at St Paul’s cathedral.
