EXCLUSIVE: Ovie Soko puts to bed rumours about Amber Gill and THAT Travelodge

He got EVERYBODY's heads turning when he turned up as a late arrival in the Love Island villa in 2019, and now as the 2020 Islanders settle in to the Winter series, we are super-hyped to have the legend that is Ovie Soko join KISS Breakfast with Tom & Daisy.

Ovie, who left the 2019 series coupled up with India Reynolds, is now a single boy, despite tonnes of rumours that he's dating former winner Amber Gill.

So, with Ovie on the show, Tom & Daisy were keen to find out about his current love life, his friendship with Amber, and why he wants to make it clear that it's OK to be friends with the opposite sex.

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last month or so, you'll probably be aware that Ovie and Amber were spotted at a Travelodge together, sending fans wild that they were dating, with many even calling them 'the perfect couple'.

So... When Daisy asked the question about Amber and the Travelodge, Ovie said, "Na man, it's a good friend. It's a very good friend man. I think the important thing in all of it is for everyone to appreciate that people of the opposite sex can be friends.

"It's a dangerous line we are playing with when that's the message we are putting out from a female and the male side."

"It's important to appreciate a good friendship."

Going on, Ovie said, "To be real, we are missing out. There's a lot as a man that you can learn from a woman that your mates can't teach you in your guy friend groups. And there's a lot you can learn as a female from a man that your friends in your group chats can't teach you.

"If you say you can't be friends with the opposite sex, you are cutting off a whole bunch of lessons that you could have learnt."

Well said, Ovie! 👏

Of course, ICYMI, former couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston gave us all the feels earlier this week when they reunited at the SAG Awards, and now that Ovie is basically a love guru, we were keen to hear his advice for Brad to win back Jen.

Ovie told the guys, "You need to see where she is at. You need to see where she is at and be able to respect where she is at. If he has come to a place where he is more at peace within himself, you can only give what you have. So if you don't have true happiness inside, if he's not really, really happy, then I wouldn't advise it, because you can't give what you don't have.

"But if he has come to a place where he's learnt from past lessons and he's at a happier place in his life. Now he can give her happiness and vice versa."
