Quite the title to hold.
Diddy is the top-earning musician pulling in $130m /£97.1 million pre-tax this year. Thanks to his Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, Ciroc vodka deal and the sale of one-third of his Sean John clothing line, 2017 has been nothing less than profitable.
** ** 2. Beyonce ($105m / £78.5m)
Queen Bey may have taken the summer off to welcome twins Sir and Rumi Carter but still managed to make an impressive $105 million making her the top paid female musician.
3. Drake ($94m / £70.2m)
The Canadian superstar toasts to More Life after collecting from his Boy Meets World Tour and cheques from Apple, Sprite and Nike deals.
4. The Weeknd ($92m / £68.3m)
Grossing more than $1 million per stop on his latest tour, The Weeknd closes the year with a full pocket at only 27-years-old.
5. Coldplay ($88m / £65.7m)
The four-piece British rock band embarked upon their Head Full of Dreams Tour this spring, collecting a big payday.
6. Guns N Roses ($84m / £62.7m)
The rock legends went back on the road and hit new cash heights without any major endorsements.
7. Justin Bieber ($83.5m / £62.4m)
He collected the largest pay of his career after the countless live shows. He also cashed in on a Calvin Klein endorsement deal, and his JustMoji icons. Not bad JB, not bad.
8. Bruce Springsteen ($75m / £56m)
When you make this much in a year you take a break from arenas. Springsteen is getting intimate and will play a Broadway concert residency.
9. Adele ($69m / £51.5m)
Despite turning down millions of endorsement deals, the Brit held a successful world tour. Whilst banking a load of cash, it's possible she may not tour again.
** ** 10. Metallica ($66.5m / £49.7m)
The bulk of profits came from the band's WorldWired global tour, which is set to continue through the spring of 2018.
