We LOVE 'Don't Call Me Up' singer Mabel - so when she dropped by KISS FM HQ to see KISS Breakfast with Tom & Daisy, we were absolutely fangirling over her. After revealing her own #ShouldntHaveSentThat text story, talk then turned to which music stars Mabel is fangirling over herself... Khalid!
Mabel is currently on tour with Khalid, and has been supporting him on the 21-date European leg of his 'Free Spirit World Tour' which will end in Munich, Germany in October - so it makes sense that she's a huge fan!
"I love him so much!" she gushed. "Do you know what, he's just got the most angelic voice, I'm just like, what a way to end every night, hearing him sing. The show's stunning, the dancers are amazing... If you get the chance to see his show, wherever you are, you should definitely do that."
After Daisy ruled that she NEEDS a collaboration with Khalid, Mabel admitted she would love for that to happen, leading Tom to ask whether she's had a discussion with him about a potential song.
"I mean, he knows that I'm a fangirl, so I'm just trying to play it cool! No, but I do watch all the shows and scream. People who I support who are on half an hour before me will see me in the crowd and be like, 'Is that Mabel just standing there and screaming?'"
Brilliant! We can't say we wouldn't do the same. 🤷♀️
