With all of the recent drama surrounding Love Island 2018 winners Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer, we are thrilled to hear the news that 2017 star Tyla Carr has welcomed her first child into the world with her boyfriend Ross.

Although Tyla is yet to confirm anything on her social channels, such as her baby’s name or gender, a representative said, "Mum and baby are well and Tyla is over the moon."

The happy news comes just days after Tyla posted an adorable message about becoming a parent and gushing over her boyfriend. Sharing a photo of herself and Ross with her huge bump on show, Tyla wrote, ‘Mummy & Daddy! Wow 🙄 Still doesn't feel like there will be a baby here soon! I look at my belly and I know there is a baby in there, but I can't seem to imagine a real life mini us?! When does that feeling sink in?'. sic

The former Love Island star announced her pregnancy back in August to OK! Magazine - revealing that she found out she was expecting in a VERY strange way!

Tyla had bought the pregnancy test and stopped for lunch at Nando's with her boyfriend Ross - but couldn't wait until she got home, so took the test in the toilets at the restaurant, saying, "We stopped for lunch after I bought the test and I couldn’t wait until I got home.

"When I saw it was positive, I ran back to tell Ross – it felt like the longest journey of my life! I was over the moon but part of me was worried too. We haven’t been together very long and we’d only just moved in together. I started to panic that we had rushed."

Cally Jane Beech and Luis Morrison from 2015's series also welcomed a baby into the world after meeting on the show. The pair are proud parents to a daughter called Vienna Morrison-Beech, despite announcing their split earlier this year.

Love Island 2016 star Malin Andersson is also pregnant with her first child, with the reality star due to give birth in 2019.

Congratulations to Tyla and Ross on the birth of their baby! 👶
