Love Island fans everywhere are mourning the loss of yet ANOTHER 2018 relationship after Sam Bird announced on Twitter last night (17th Oct) that he'd split from Georgia Steel. The pair, who met on this year's series of the show, have called it quits after leaving the villa three months ago.

Sam confirmed the sad news just hours after they'd attended the ITV Palooza together, writing, 'I’m devastated to announce me and Georgia have split up for reasons I cant bring myself to comment on at the moment. As always I wish her all the best 😔.' sic

Georgia also confirmed the news, taking to her Instagram Story to write, 'I'm very sad to say me and Sam have split. I will always care about him. However, please understand this is a hard time for us both, thank you. ❤️' sic

However, after Sam's rather cryptic tweet, rumours have been swirling that the reason for their split was that Georgia wasn't so loyal after all - and a source told OK! Online, "He truly believed that Georgia was the one, after their experience on Love Island, leaving the show to be together and moving in their home – he thought him and Georgia would be together for the long run.

"In his eyes they had a good relationship. However, Sam has recently found out Georgia has not been loyal to him."

Fans have also been quick to note that it looked as though she'd become very close to her manager Steven West, who she revealed she'd gone on a 'late night drive' with after announcing her split in an Instagram Story post.

However, she's now slammed the rumours, uploading yet another statement to her Story which reads, 'The story of myself being linked with Steven West. This is laughable, he is my tour manager who drives me to all my PA'S! Nothing more.'

Her rep also told Mirror Online, "There is no truth in this whatsoever. Steven West is Georgia’s tour manager who drives her to PA’s and looks after her security wise and it’s in this professional capacity of which he is employed."
