EXCLUSIVE: Love Island's Anton 'wishes he hadn't unfollowed Molly-Mae' after Reunion drama 😱
It's become a WHOLE big thing
As fans of Love Island will no doubt be aware, the drama doesn't stop once the show finishes! Although it's been over a week since the Love Island final, in which Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea were crowned the somewhat surprise Queen and King of the Love Island villa, last weekend's Reunion show ramped up the drama once again.
Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan dropped by KISS FM HQ to chat with Tyler on KISS about all things Love Island - so of course he HAD to ask about the drama over Anton unfollowing Molly-Mae Hague on Instagram once he got out of the villa.
When asked for her take on the situation, Belle told Tyler, "It's not really that deep. The thing is, we're not going to judge anyone by the decisions that they've had to make, we've all had to make difficult decisions.
"I made the comment that, sometimes, without meaning to be, she can be a little bit two-faced. She doesn't mean it, because she's lovely, we get on really well, but I think sometimes without meaning to be, she'll say one thing to someone and one to another - I think it's just that she doesn't want to upset anyone. I think it's more her trying to be nice, but it can come across in a different way.
"I think the unfollowing thing, you know, they didn't really talk. Molly didn't have a lot of great things to say about Anton, she wasn't his number one fan. You know how a brother and sister clash? They just clashed."
But following the drama, Anton then admitted to Tyler that he wishes he could take it back! "I wouldn't even say we clashed, we just didn't speak. Ever since the 'you've made your bed, lie in it' situation, we've never really spoken since then.
"I've got nothing against her, she's a lovely girl in a lot of ways... You know what, I wish I never done it now! I really wish I never done it!"
Belle added, "Your management follow everyone for you, and then the people you're not really friends with, why are you going to have them on there?" as Anton said, "It's something that's so small that's been blown up."
The annual recap programme brings all the year's contestants back together to discuss everything that happened - so of course, there's always plenty of talking points. 👀
During Sunday night's (4th Aug) show, Anton was quizzed by Caroline Flack over his decision to unfollow Molly-Mae on Instagram once the show was over, following accusations that Molly-Mae had voted himself and Belle Hassan off tactically just before the final.
Anton told Caroline, "What happened is, when we're in there, our management or whoever is running our Instagram follows for us. Molly came up on my Instagram and I'm sure Molly will agree with this, we've never even spoken in the villa, really."
But Molly-Mae replied, "I mean, I didn't think you weren't a friend of mine. I'm not gonna lie, I thought we were friends."
Awks!
