Liam Payne reveals the struggles of being away from Bear and Cheryl

There's no denying former One Direction singer Liam Payne is a very busy boy at the moment, not only is he promoting his debut solo music across the world, but he's also gearing up for his first Christmas with his son Bear and his girlfriend Cheryl Tweedy.

With the festive season fast approaching, it has been reported that Cheryl and Bear could be spending Christmas without Liam due to his intense schedule, and now Liam has revealed just how hard he finds it being away from his little family.

Speaking about how much he misses Bear to the Daily Star, Liam said, "It's Bear's first Christmas. I'm hoping not to miss him too much in between the shows so I'm gonna try and get back to him. He just keeps getting bigger."

Liam is currently out in America promoting his solo music and he performed his latest single 'Bedroom Floor' on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week.

After the performance, Liam took to his Instagram page to share a short clip from the show, with the caption, 'Enjoyed performing #BedroomFloor on @theellenshow 🎤 thanks for having me 🙏🏼'. sic

Despite welcoming baby Bear into the world back in March this year, neither Liam or Cheryl have shared a photo of their son online.

The couple have decided to keep their little one out of the limelight, with Liam only teasing fans with photos of his hands and feet.

Back in August, Liam shared the cutest two photos of Bear's tiny little hands as he celebrated his 24th birthday.

He then sent his fans into overdrive when he shared an audio clip of Bear giggling on his Instagram story.

After missing his first Father's Day due to work commitments, Cheryl sent Liam the most fitting present from Bear. Liam took to his social accounts to show it off.

Meanwhile after her appearance on The X Factor alongside her old friend Simon Cowell, Cheryl has since kept a low profile and has kept her social media posts to a minimum.

After their playful Christmas selfies posted online last year, we can just imagine the pair dressing Bear up as a Christmas pudding this year! 😂
