Bad news Little Monsters...
It’s bad news for those Little Monsters… Lady Gaga has announced she is taking a break from music.
The singer, aged 31, broke the news at the Toronto Film Festival as she promoted the upcoming Netflix documentary about her ‘Gaga: Five Foot Two’. Gaga told reporters ‘I’m going to take a rest’. Adding ‘it doesn’t mean I won’t be creating. It doesn’t mean I don’t have some things up my sleeve.’ But for now Gaga wants to “slow down for a moment for some healing. Because that’s important.”
‘Gaga: Five Foot Two’ followers the singer over a year of her life including the making of her most recent album ‘Joanne’. Gaga has shared a bunch of clips from the documentary and it looks like nothing is off limit. In one clip you can hear Gaga crying saying ‘I’m alone Brandon every night, and all these people will leave and I’ll be alone. I go from everyone touching me all day and talking at me all day to total silence.’
Last week, Gaga sent her fans pizza after she cancelled a stop on her Joanne World Tour. The singer was forced to cancel her Montréal gig after she fell sick.
Taking to Twitter to apologise to her fans, Gaga posted up a photo of her looking rather sorry for herself and wrote ‘to my beautiful fans. I couldn’t be more devastated that I am unable to perform tonight. I sing their entire show live, and pride myself in giving it all, but when I sang in the rain at Citi Field I got sick and have been pushing through. I am so sorry to anyone who had their heart set on seeing me tonight. I love you. Xoxo, Joanne.;
She later tweeted ‘Im sending free pizza to any monsters outside my hotel The William Gray Montréal. I love u so much and I’m so sorry u are the most loyal fans.’ And replied to one disappointed fan ‘I tried all day to nurse my voice and my body to push through the show and my doctors and vocal coach said no I’m sorry.
