Kylie Jenner hits back over ‘cease and desist’ claims in defiant tweet

After Kylie Jenner's 'Rise and Shine' meme broke the Internet last month as well as breaking TikTok viewing records, things seem to have taken a turn for the worse.
It was reported over the weekend that the 22-year-old had sent an Australian woman a cease and desist letter over 'Rise and Shine' t-shirts she was selling, even though the woman involved had reportedly been selling them since 2017.
But in a series of defiant tweets, Kylie has shot down those reports, urging her fans not to believe everything they read on the Internet.
She wrote, 'Guys, please don’t believe everything you read. I have not sent any Rise and Shine cease and desist letters.
'Rise and Shine was an unexpected moment.. I had a lot of fun with it, and I have laughed so hard seeing everyone’s memes since the video came out a few weeks ago.'
In another tweet posted straight after her first, Kylie, who recently split from boyfriend Travis Scott, concluded, 'There are no law suits, no cease and desist letters. Happy Sunday.'
