Kermit the Frog covers Beyonce's 'Hold Up'
Kermit the Frog has covered Bey's hit 'Hold Up' and dedicated it to Miss Piggy.
Beyonce sent the world into breakdown when she dropped her visual album ‘Lemonade’ last month. With most of the tracks from the album climbing up the chart and now Kermit the Frog has covered Bey's hit ‘Hold Up’.
Kermit explains ‘today I am going to sing a song by the great Beyonce. It’s called Hold Up, it’s from her new album called Lemonade. This song really resonates with me because you guys know - Miss Piggy, she cheated on and so I had to leave her alone. Kinda like what Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z did to her.’
Kermit has changed the lyrics to make them more personal, singing: ‘don’t you know there’s no other pigg above you, what a wicked way to treat the frog that loves you’.
