Katy Perry has been praised by her fans for showing off her post-baby body, just five days after she gave birth to her first child, Daisy Dove.
The 35-year-old, who shot to fame after releasing 'I Kissed A Girl', took to her Instagram story to poke fun at herself about how she would be watching the MTV VMAs this year.
Posting a photo of herself wearing a nursing bra used with a breast pump, and a pair of grey knickers which were pulled half-way up her stomach, Katy pulled a tired facial expression and jokingly captioned the image, 'Hair n makeup by: @exhaustion.' (sic)
She also included a camera GIF and a subtle piece of promo for her latest single, 'Not The End Of The World.'
Side note: we love the bathroom.
Taking to Katy's latest Instagram post to comment on the upload, her die-hard fans rushed to praise her, with one user writing, 'OMG you look incredible in your story', while another commented, 'keeping it real.' (sic)
Even Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan gave Katy a shoutout on the ITV breakfast show this morning (1st September), saying, "Shout out to Katy Perry. Most celebrities, when they have a baby they lie and cheat about when they had the baby and they suddenly appear a week later looking absolutely body perfect.
"Katy Perry has come out having just given birth and she's got her breast pump bra, her big maternity pants - (Kate) Garraway style - she looks fantastic, and that's what a real mum looks like."
Katy welcomed her daughter with actor Orlando Bloom last week, after the pair got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019.
The news was announced by UNICEF, who took to Instagram to proudly announce the news, with the happy couple adding, “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter."
