Justin Bieber has been teasing fans recently with a couple of tweets that seemingly allude to a new single coming very soon.

🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Late last night the Canadian pop star simply tweeted 'Can we still be friends', followed shortly afterwards by 'Friday'.

Whilst there hasn't been any official word from the 23-year-old singer, the producer behind Justin's 2015 number one hit 'Sorry' has also got involved. Within an hour of Justin's tweets BloodPop retweeted Justin saying, 'Yes', followed by '8.18', which is assumed to be the release date and would fit with Justin's 'Friday' tweet.

As well as working on 'Sorry', Bloodpop has worked with many A-list stars including Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and John Legend, so his involvement with Justin's new track means it is likely to be a belter - we can't wait!

Whilst this year has been a busy year for Justin, who has teamed up with countless artists, this song will be his first solo single since 'Company' last year. 'Company' was Justin's fourth single from his album 'Purpose' and surprisingly only reached number 25.

This year Justin has seen success collaborating with DJ Khaled and superstar DJ David Guetta on his latest single '2U' which he dropped two months ago. At the time, in a similar way, Justin posted some cryptic tweets ahead of the single's release. One of his tweets just listed the names of the Victoria Secret's Angels which turned out to relate to the music video which featured the Angels lipsyncing to Biebs' vocals.

Justin's biggest hit this year by far is 'Despacito', a remix of a popular Spanish-language song which was also released in 2017. Just six months after the release of the song it became the most streamed song of all time and also the fifth most streamed music video on YouTube!

Bring on Friday!
