Johnny Depp joins Glastonbury line-up

Actor Johnny Depp has been added to this year’s Glastonbury line-up. Yup, really!

But The Pirates of the Caribbean actor won’t be singing at the event, he’s part of the team behind the festival’s latest area ‘Cineramageddon’.

At ‘Cineramageddon’, festival goers can sit back and relax as they watch films on the biggest cinema screen in the UK while sitting in vintage cars. Depp has worked with festival organisers to pick the films on show which include two of his own films ‘Dead Man’ and ‘The Libertine’, he will be there to introduce each film and take part in a Q&A.

Glastonbury 2017 takes places next weekend (21st to 25th June), headlining The Pyramid Stage are Radiohead, Foo Fighter and Ed Sheeran will bring the festival to a close on Sunday night. Elsewhere on the line-up are Katy Perry, Stormzy, Major Lazer, Dizzee Rascal, Wiley, Clean Bandit and Tove Lo.
