A Game of Thrones Carpool Karaoke is coming

A Game of Thrones Carpool Karaoke is happening! We repeat A Game of Thrones Carpool is happening!

The show’s stars Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner made the announcement, in a video tweeted out by the Apple Music Carpool Karaoke Twitter account. The girls said ‘we’re at South by Southwest and we’re about to Carpool Karaoke for Apple Music.’

It was announced last month Apple Music were producing 16 episodes based on James Corden’s winning Late Late show segment.

The bad news is, Corden won’t star in each episode, instead the series will feature ’16 celebrity pairings riding along in a car together as they sing tunes from their personal playlists’.

The trailer includes a sea of famous faces including Ariana Grande, Will Smith, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Seth MacFarlane, Chelsea Handler and Billy on the Street showing off their vocal chords.

In other exciting Game Of Thrones news, Ed Sheeran is set to make a guest appearance on the show. Ed confirmed the news on Twitter, re-tweeting a Vanity Fair article about his appearance with the caption 'Guess the cats out the bag...'.

Although it's not yet been confirmed what role Ed will play in fantasy drama, series seven of the show has finally been given an air date.

The hugely anticipated season will premiere on HBO on 16th July 2017, with UK viewers being able to watch it on Sky Atlantic on 17th July 2017.
