Fans react as The X Factor 2016 judges are confirmed
Auditions are set to begin on June 10th
It's been speculated for weeks and now the official judging panel for The X Factor 2016 has been confirmed.
A statement from the show confirms rumours that Sharon Osborne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger will all be making a return to sit alongside Simon Cowell on the panel.
Sharon, Louis and Nicole will replace last year's judges, Cheryl, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw.
The statement reads, "We can now confirm that some very familiar faces will be returning as judges on the new series of The X Factor later this year! Rock royalty Sharon Osbourne, pop sensation Nicole Scherzinger and chart maestro Louis Walsh, will sit alongside The X Factor creator and music mogul Simon Cowell on the panel."
The judges have been speaking ahead of their return, Sharon admitted "I'm overjoyed about going back to The X Factor, sitting with Lou Lou, the gorgeous Nicole and naughty Simon."

Louis, who was an original judge alongside Simon and Sharon back in 2004, jokingly said "He'd say otherwise but I knew Simon missed me last year!".
Nicole who is also no stranger to the panel having judged back in 2012 and 2013, tweeted her excitement saying she 'can't wait to be back in my second home'.
The announcement brought a mixed reaction from fans, with some not so happy.
However, some are happy with the line-up.
In a deal which is reportedly worth £1.5 million, 42-year-old Dermot O'Leary will return to replace last year's hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack.
