Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson & Rixton’s Jake Roche get engaged at Key 103 Summer Live with help from Ed Sheeran!
Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson and Rixton’s Jake Roche have got engaged in truly spectacular style on stage.
Just a few hours before the Key 103 Summer Live event in Manchester, Jesy was warming up on stage with Little Mix when Jake entered from the shadows with his good mate Ed Sheeran in tow!
Armed with his guitar, a smiling Ed performed a stunning and highly emotional acoustic rendition of his ‘x’ classic ‘Tenerife Sea’, which Jesy says is her and Jake’s ‘song’.
“As soon as he sung that, I just knew” she said.
Jake, 22, then got down on one knee and popped the big question. A shocked but truly elated Jesy said an emphatic “YES!”
“It was all a bit of a blur to be honest…I couldn’t take it all in”
“It sounds so strange but I felt like, it felt like the feeling of when we won the X Factor” she continued.
Jesy somehow managed to gather her composure to perform a stunning set with Little Mix in front of thousands of fans at the Manchester Arena.
Jesy and Jake have been dating since September 2014 and have been pretty much inseparable ever since, regularly sharing cute photos of themselves on Instagram.
