Singer Ellie Goulding has announced the lovely news that she's expecting her first child with her husband Caspar Jopling!
The 'Light's singer opened up about her lovely news during a recent chat with Vogue UK, admitting she's 30 weeks pregnant. She told the publication, “You’re the first person I’ve spoken to!” she admits. “I haven’t been photographed, so…”
Ellie, who married Caspar Jopling at York Minister in August 2019, later went on to reveal she was pregnant during her last public appearance, but she didn't yet know it.
Referring to an appearance at the V&A Museum, Ellie said, “We did the one show. I was pregnant and had no idea.
"That was around the time when Caspar and I went away briefly when we were allowed to for our one-year anniversary, and that’s basically when we found out. It was crazy because it was our one-year anniversary.
"That was not the plan. The thought of getting pregnant didn’t seem like it could be a reality. Becoming pregnant kind of made me feel human. I want a better word than womanly, but—I have curves I’ve never had before. I’m enjoying it. My husband’s enjoying it.”
