Ed Sheeran talk Game of Thrones appearance: “I don’t die”

Ed Sheeran has been spilling the beans on his upcoming guest appearance in Season 7 of Game of Thrones.

Talking to Comic Book, Ed has revealed “ I do know which role I am going to play. I don’t die in it. I don’t die. I’m only in it for like five minutes”.

Ed also said he’s his eye on a guest spot on the show for a while, explaining: “ My friend guested in it in 2012 (Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody) and I remember I was on tour with him and he was like ‘Right, I’ve got a guest slot on Game Of Thrones’ and I remember saying ‘You got to get me on it at some point.’” Adding: “It’s been five years so it’s finally come true.”

Ed announced he’d be guesting on the show, retweeting a Vanity Fair article about his appearance with the caption ‘Guest the cats out the bag…’

The hugely anticipated season will premiere on HBO on 16th July 2017, with UK viewers being able to watch it on Sky Atlantic on 17th July 2017.
