He's already collaborated with massive stars such as The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Rudimental and Eminem, however Ed Sheeran has now revealed who his dream collaboration would be and you might be surprised.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ed revealed that he would love to work with the rapper Drake. He said he is hoping to move away from the acoustic guitar and has "learned from looking at how Drake does it."

Ed explained how the 'In My Feelings' rapper has inspired him to follow up his most recent album '÷' saying, "Drake puts out these albums that are huge but then in between he sticks out projects and however big the project is, it doesn’t really matter because it’s not the album, if that makes sense. It just clears the air for the next album."

The 'Shape of You' singer then went on to admit he actually has a few dream collaborations, however Drake would be his top priority saying, "I feel like, at some point, me and Drake need to do something, I feel like that has to happen at some point."

Ed was then asked why the collaboration hadn't already happened, to which he replied, "I’ve been on tour for god knows how long and he’s been on tour for god knows how long and he’s constantly releasing stuff."

Ed continued, "I just think at some point those two worlds have to meet, and I don’t know how or what it sounds like, but I feel like it’s inevitable… I’ve only met him a couple of times. I don’t even know if it’s in the cards. I’d like to think he has the same mindset as me."

In other Ed news, the singer gave the strongest hint yet that he might already be married to Cherry Seaborn. Ed appeared on an American TV show recently when he was asked about his wedding details. The interviewer asked him, "What about the wedding details? Have you picked a date? Do you know when, do you know where yet?"

In response, Ed just shrugged, gesturing towards the silver ring on his ring finger as he smiled. Taking the hint, interviewer then replied, "Alright! That’s exciting! Congratulations my friend. How did you sneak that one?"

Ed announced his engagement back in January with an Instagram post, it read, 'Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx'. sic
