Drake is reportedly set to star in the next series of TV series ‘Top Boy’.

Yup… apparently Drizzy’s bought the rights to the show off Channel 4, meaning a starring role for the Canadian rapper is in the works.

Ex Solid Crew member Ashley Walters, who plays Dushane in the show told The Mirror that the producers are working on a mega role for Drake, explaining “We met up to start talking about the show and we are working out a role for him.”

Walters continued: “He loves acting, of course he wanted a part. He’s going to be really hands on and is getting stuck into it.”

Drake showed his love for the series in 2014 when he tweeted: “@AshleyWalters82 is too incredible!! Everybody on Top Boy gives such incredible performances. That show is just too good.”

It’s not the first time Drizzy’s turned his hand to acting, in 2001 he starred in Canadian soap Degrassi: The Next Generation
