Demi Lovato has made it crystal clear who’s side she is on in the Taylor Swift Katy Perry beef.
Speaking to Yahoo, Demi said "This will probably get in trouble, but I don't see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body. It's kind of this false image of what people should look like." Demi defended Katy Perry, saying “I thinking that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that’s not women’s empowerment”, alluding to Taylor’s track Bad Blood.

Taylor fans took to Twitter to vent their disappointment at Demi’s words and pointed out the ‘irony’ of the matter.
After receiving criticism, Demi later defended her latest words. Speaking to her 38 million followers, the singer wrote, 'I get asked questions. I answer them. Sue me'.
Before adding, 'Also don't forget that words can be taken out of context when doing interviews... still not apologising for saying what everyone wants to say'.
