Carly Rae Jepsen stopped by KISS Breakfast recently to chat about Run Away With Me, Justin Bieber being like a fairy godmother and travelling all over the world.
Carly Rae Jepsen stopped by KISS Breakfast recently to chat about her new single Run Away With Me, travelling around the world and how she felt when she heard Tove Lo cover one of her songs.
Speaking to Rickie, Melvin & Charlie, Jepsen said she recently had to visit 25 cities in 15 days, describing it as 'crazy'.
She also revealed that although they shot video in six locations for the Run Away With Me video, they only included footage from three for the final cut.
The new song is taken from Jepsen's forthcoming album E.MO.TION, which the singer explained took a long time to complete.
"I probably wrote, like 200 songs" she said, going on to explain that she got the opinions of friends to help to whittle the number down for the final album.
Carly Rae also told us that she'd love to work with Tove Lo, especially after hearing this clip of her covering Run Away With Me.
Carly Rae Jepsen also chatted about her friendship with Justin Bieber, saying that his inital tweet about Call Me Maybe changed everything for her.
"It was kinda like a fairy godmother moment" she said.
