Jay and Kanye’s friendship goes way back to 2001 when Kanye worked on a producer on Jay-Z’s ‘The Blueprint’ album. They would later collaborate again in 2011 for ‘Watch The Throne’, but things have turned frosty between the pair in recent years with Beyonce and Jay-Z not attending Kanye’s wedding to Kim Kardashian in 2014.
This week Kanye slammed Bey and Jay when he performed in California, claiming that Beyonce wouldn’t play at the MTV Awards unless she won Video of the Year. Before adding “Jay Z, call me. You still ain’t called me. Jay Z, I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head. Please call me. Talk to me like a man.”
However, according to a national newspaper, Beyonce is ‘urging Jay to let bygones be bygones, and Jay is coming round to the idea and fast as he sees Kanye is in trouble. No matter what has happened between them, Kanye has always been Jay’s little bro and Jay has always called him his ‘familia’’ The source continued: ‘They’re now planning to reach out to Kanye quietly and in private to avoid any media storm but just to let him know they are there for him.’
