Beyoncé loses her Instagram crown to Kim Kardashian
The top 10 accounts on Instagram feature 9 females!
Queen Bey has lost her Instagram crown.
Kim Kardashian has now become the most followed person on Instagram with 44.1 million followers, compared to Beyoncé's 44 million.
Part of Kim's success online surely lies in her regular updates showing her celebrity lifestyle including the parties she attends with her rapper husband Kanye West and the photos of her family life with 2-year-old daughter North.
More recently photos of the celebrity's pregnancy have been particularly popular on Instagram with the naked photo she posted a week ago gaining 1.9 million likes and 163,961 comments.
Beyoncé on the other hand posts less frequently to the social network filling her feed with cover shoots and holiday snaps as well as a few shots of her childhood.
The photo (below) posted a week ago of Beyoncé with her daughter (aged 11 months at the time) received 2 million likes and more than 44,000 comments.
As you'd expect the Top 10 Instagram accounts according to followers is filled with the Kardashian/Jenner clan with four of them making the cut. The list is very female orientated with Justin Bieber being the only man to reach the Top 10.
