Have Beyonce and Jay-Z named their twins after themselves?
We're still waiting for that announcement...
It’s been a whole week since rumours emerged that Beyonce has welcomed her twin babies with husband Jay-Z.
The couple are yet to officially confirm the news, however Beyonce’s dad Matthew Knowles took to Twitter to let everyone know he was a granddad again.
Matthew tweeted an image of a birthday card which read ‘Happy Birthday to the twins! Love Granddad’ along with the caption ‘they’re here! #beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday’.
Now rumours are flying around that the couple have settled on names for the twins. Sources close to the couple have told MediaTakeOut, that they have called the boy Shawn Jr. after his dad’s real name Shawn Carter and the girl Bea, after her mum’s nickname.
Guessing they didn't go with KISS Breakfast's suggestions then....
We are still waiting for the big reveal from the couple themselves. Beyonce announced she was pregnant in February, wearing a green veil and holding her belly. She caption the picture “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters. How is she going to top the announcement?
However rumours suggest that Beyonce and Jay-Z haven’t taken their little ones homes. Sources close to the Knowles have told TMZ, that the twins were born prematurely and are 'under the lights'. Many people are interpreting this to mean that the twins are being treated for jaundice.
Jaundice is not uncommon in new borns especially twins which are rarely carried to full term. It occurs when they are high levels of bilirubin in the blood and being ‘under the lights’ ensures the levels of bilirubin in the body are lowered.
