After just 8 months of dating, the pair reportedly confirmed the news and issued a joint statement to Us magazine through their reps, saying:
> "They both made the decision to part ways because their conflicting tour schedules would keep them apart over the next year."
The pair had become known for regularly sharing loved up photos together, performing together onstage and gushing about each other in interviews.
