Amy Winehouse’s mum has suggested that the singer may have had Tourette’s Syndrome.

Amy’s mum, Janis Winehouse, has published a new book ‘Loving Amy: A Mother’s Story’ in which she talks about her daughter’s life.

In the book Janis says ‘I think that she was a special-needs kid in that she was so intelligent.’ She was gifted, living a world where she just wasn’t average… She could well have been almost Tourette’s, where she would just shout things out. We just do not know.'
