It’s one of the biggest nights in British music and you and a mate could be joining KISS and partying with the likes of Dua Lipa, Becky Hill, Chase & Status – the queen of the nominations, Raye & loads more, as they take to the stage at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday March 2nd.

BRIT Awards 2023 - The Winners

TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “WIN Tickets To The BRITs 2024 with KISS” (the “Competition”).

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

1. ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS

Entries are restricted to one entry per person.

Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:

2. COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

• The KISS on-air presenters will let listeners know of the competition which will take place between 07:00 – 11:00 from 19/02/24 – 23/02/24. During the wider dates and timeframe, the on-air presenters announce when the lines are open for listeners who wish to take part in the competition to call in on 03448 112233 for their chance to play to win.

• Each day during the competition week one caller will be chosen at random from those on the switchboard to proceed and brought to air.

• On Mon 19th, Tues 20th and Thurs 22nd February a listener will be brought to air and will be participating in KISS FM’s “The Quiz that gets Quicker.”

• “The Quiz That Gets Quicker” is a feature on the KISS FM breakfast show and is a quiz-based game with time limits against each question.

• Jordan and Perri will ask the entrant 5 questions and the entrant will have to answer each question in a set amount of time. The entrant must answer as many questions as they can within the time limit. (The question being read counts within the time limit).

On Weds 21st and Friday 23rd February a listener will be brought to to air and asked to 'Fill in the blank'

'Fill in the blank' will be a piece of interview audio with part of the clip removed. The listener must correctly identify the missing word/s to win.

• From Monday 19th February 2024 – Friday 23rd February 2024, entrants from both mechanics will successfully be awarded the prize (outlined in section 5.0) if they answer one out of the five questions correctly.

• There will be up to 1 winner per day, and up to 5 winners in total across the competition period.

• The KISS FM’s production team reserve the right to pre-record any part of this competition with contestants before the 'as-live' broadcast.

• The entrant will only be deemed a winner, upon being selected and told by the presenter and the KISS FM production team that they are a winner. Whether the contestant complies with the rules will be up to the discretion of the KISS FM production team.

On-air competition dates are as follows:

• Monday 19th February 2024 between 7:00 – 11:00 during the KISS FM UK Breakfast Show

• Tuesday 20th February 2024 between 7:00 – 11:00 during the KISS FM UK Breakfast Show

• Wednesday 21st February 2024 between 7:00 – 11:00 during the KISS FM UK Breakfast Show

• Thursday 22nd February 2024 between 7:00 – 11:00 during the KISS FM UK Breakfast Show

• Friday 23rd February 2024 between 7:00 – 11:00 during the KISS FM UK Breakfast Show

Each day from 19/02/24 to 23/02/24 the finalist’s segment will be played as live/ or as live if pre-recorded on-air during the KISS Breakfast Show between 7:00 – 11:00. Once on-air, the finalists will be awarded the competition prize and announced as a winner.

All final decisions will rest with the KISS Production Team.

3. ENTRY PERIOD

Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:

Between 19/02/2024 to 21/02/2024 during the Kiss Breakfast Show at 07:00 (“Start Time”) and 11:00 (“End Time)

The specific opening and closing times of the on-air competition will be announced by the presenter during the show (07:00- 11:00).

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.

Winner Announcement: The winners of the competition will be announced on-air during the KISS Breakfast Show from 19/01/2024 – 23/01/24, between 07:00 and 11:00.

If an entrant is successfully deemed a winner, the KISS FM production team will be in touch with them within 10 working days to arrange delivery of the prize. However, if the winner cannot be contacted within 10 days from the date of the initial attempt to contact them/the on-air draw, then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in our sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

• Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.

• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.

• We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

• Anyone who has won a Bauer competition to the value of £500 or more within the past 6 months on any Bauer Radio Brand, will not be eligible to take part in this competition nor will anyone else at their address. If by any chance they get through to the phone lines – any prize they have been successful with will not be awarded. 5. THE PRIZE

There will be up to 1 winner per day and 5 winners in total during this competition window.

Prizing is dependent on the outcome of the on-air competition (see 2.4 how to win).

If the on-air contestant correctly guesses one question during “The Quiz That Gets Quicker” they will win:

• 1x pair of tickets to The BRIT Awards 2024 at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday 2nd March.

PRIZE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

· Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no alternative will be offered.

· The prize excludes anything not expressly listed above.

· Once confirmed, any changes including but not limited to name changes, date changes and route changes will be at the prize winner’s expense. Bauer Media will aim to send the prizes to winners within 28 working days from the date suitable ID and proof of address is provided to Bauer Media. However, there may be a delay due to potential unforeseen circumstances and therefore deliveries may take longer.

1. DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to a Prize Provider to arrange delivery of the prize. Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. For SMS entries you automatically consent to receive marketing. 2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

3. MISCELLANEOUS.

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.

• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.

• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.

• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant.

• As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize.

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.
