Firefighters say they are dealing with a "significant" blaze in Sparkhill this morning.
They're urging us to avoid the A34 Stratford Road where there is a mix of homes and businesses.
Multiple crews are in attendance.
The road is closed between Formans Road and Court Road and drivers are being told to avoid the area.
Buses are being diverted in both directions via Showell Green Lane, Yardley Wood Road, Wake Green Road, and College Road.
