The mum of a Wigan teenager who died at the hands of her boyfriend has told us she's worried he will kill again as it's announced he's going to be released from prison.

The mum of a Wigan teenager who died at the hands of her boyfriend has told us she's worried he will kill again as it's announced he's going to be released from prison.

Carly Fairhurst, was 19 when she was killed by Darren Pilkington more than 10 years ago. He'd already killed before.

He's now been granted parole - but we don't have any details of when he will be released and the conditions of his licence yet.

Carly's parents Shelia and Trevor Fairhurst say they're devastated that he's going to be released after serving 10 and a half years behind bars.
